Begin at Bunnys, take 58 East to Military Hwy exit. Take Military Hwy East
to Galberry Rd. Turn right. Continue on Galberry Rd to George Washington Hwy
(route 17). Turn right. Turn left on Cedar Rd, then turn right on the other side
of the bridge. Continue on route 17 south to Edenton NC. Take exit 230 and turn left.
take route 1330/17 (N Broad St.) through Edenton to route 32 (E Church St.) turn left.
Continue on route 32 across the bridge to route 94. Turn left onto route 94 and
continue to route 64. Merge on to route 64 East. Continue on route 64 to Manteo.
Turn left onto route 158 (S Croatan Hwy). Continue on route 158 to route 168 (north
of Kitty Hawk). Merge right onto route 168 North and continue to Chesapeake. From
this point you should be able to find your way home.

Description |
This is a nice route that takes you south into North Carolina, thru
Edenton North Carolina, then over to the Outer Banks. Reaching the Outer Banks
is especially nice on a hot summer day. The breeze across the ocean
is a great relief. Coming back up is pretty nice as long as the traffic
is relatively calm. If it wasn't for the traffic on the return trip
I would gladly give this route 4 stars.
