The ride is long but it is worth it. I highly recommend stopping in Williamsburg for lunch during the ride. It winds through mostly farm land between Suffolk and Surry. Then the Jamestown ferry is always a nice treat and a chance to stretch. Route 5 is gorgeous with a mostly tree-lined road and plantations all the way up to Hopewell. |
Points of Interest | Jamestown-Scotland Ferry, Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Berkley Plantation, and several other Plantations. |
