Directions | Begin at Bunny's Restraunt, take 58 East to Military Hwy exit. Take Military Hwy East to Galberry Rd. Turn right. Continue on Galberry Rd to George Washington Hwy (route 17). Turn right. Turn left on Cedar Rd, then turn right on the other side of the bridge. Continue South on route 17 toward Elizabeth City North Carolina. Turn right on route 158. Take route 158 West to route 32 (N.C. Hwy 32). Turn right on route 32 and continue North. Route 32 becomes Carolina Rd. on the Virginia side. Continue on Carolina Rd going toward Downtown Suffolk. Once you get past the airport (on the right) you have a choice. You can either take the fast route on the 58 bypass or you can go through Downtown Suffolk. If you take the bypass, take it going North. Then take the right exit onto route 58 going toward Portsmouth. Continue on route 58 to Wilroy Rd exit then to Bunny's. If you go through Downtown Suffolk, continue on route 32 to E. Constance Rd. Turn right. Then go about 2 miles to Wilroy. Turn left. Then go about 2 miles to Bunny's. | Description | This is the same route that is taken for the Suffolk Swamp Roar. It's a pretty decent ride on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The first part of it is mostly highway. But once you get down to North Carolina and turn off the highway, it is all country roads though farm land then a nice tree lined road as you get back in Virginia going toward Suffolk. |
